Paula Cepeda Gallo: Regional Program Coordinator for Latin America
Paula Cepeda Gallo holds a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in Gender and Justice from the University of Alberta in Canada, along with a law degree in International and European Law from Maastricht, the Netherlands.
Her research interests have centered on feminist theoretical perspectives on societal and legal responses to sexual and gendered violence, as well as the role of institutions of global governance and human rights frameworks in ratcheting up gender justice.
Paula’s background experience working with marginalized and vulnerable groups, within the disability community, with victims of sexual violence, and children, in the capacity of support advocate, and activist, grounds her political and social commitments to building coalitions—within communities and globally—in the pursuit of justice and to find transformative solutions to bring an end to sexualized violence.
