The Need :
You can help by offering your financial support. CUBE offers 100% free services, and depends 100% on donations and grants for staff salaries and financial support. Thus, for CUBE to survive, it needs all the help it can get in the way of donations and grants.
Another amazing way others can help is by raising awareness in society. Raising awareness involves studying up a little bit on the topic, and then sharing that information with others in everyday conversation. Raise the topic at lunch, with friends in the car, or wherever you happen to be. Sometimes people are resistant (because it is a tough topic), but many people really appreciate the info and a good discussion. In my experience, many people are just waiting for someone to raise the topic so that they can break the silence and tell what has happened in their own lives. So many people out there are hurt, suffering in silence, and need to know that they are not alone. Even if sometimes we can’t fully understand what other people are going through, we can still offer them our support and love. Like Gandhi said, “the worst of the bad things is the silence of the good people.”
