Meet Parker Palmer

CFO of A Breeze of Hope

Parker Palmer received his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Eastern University..

 

He is a tireless advocate for children's rights, and for the last nine years he has worked with healthy childhood development and the prevention of child and adolescent sexual violence. Parker is the author of two investigations on Bolivian Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, and co-author of several books on early childhood development.

 

His investigations into Bolivian Criminal Law and Procedure helped to form the foundation of a thematic hearing presented to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights in 2012 on sexual violence and female adolescents in Bolivia. He also works as a Legal Consultant in Bolivia, where he is active in legal reform efforts and helps local attorneys to develop client centered, comprehensive case strategies.

 

Parker is co-founder of A Breeze of Hope and Fundacion una Brisa de Esperanza. As young child, Parker Palmer witnessed and experienced various types of violence. Through years of struggle Parker discovered that he could make this world a better place for children and thus he became deeply involved with education and political structures.

 

Parker and Brisa met in college and together shared their dreams of a better world. Since then Parker has passionately and relentlessly worked for the protection of children and to leave this world a better place. Parker is co-founder of A Breeze of Hope and currently works as the organization’s co-president.
