Meet Harriet Katz

Harriet is a Clinical Professor of Law at Rutgers University Law School in New Jersey.

For more than twenty years, she has taught skills courses (interviewing, counseling, and negotiation), and advising, placing and supervising senior students who are working in practice settings outside the law school, or in an on-campus legal clinic. Previously, she practiced law in public interest firms. Harriet is a joyful and proactive person.

She has been a strong supporter of A Breeze of Hope, helping it to make connections with Rutgers University and researching funding opportunities.

Harriet and her husband Jim enjoy music, travel, and time with friends, family, their three sons, and each other. Harriet is also active in her synagogue, where she enjoys singing, study, and close friendships.
